JCREMC
Since starting at JCREMC in January, the company's social media analytics have doubled on every platform. I've worked to implement new strategies to show the community side of the company by posting staff spotlights and shouting out local organizations within Johnson County. Here are some of my most high-performing posts to date.

In my personal experience, posts showing who actually work at a company always tend to do well. When I started at JCREMC, the company wasn't posting any staff spotlights, which felt like an untapped opportunity!
To dip our toes in the water, I've started by posting spotlights whenever we have new employees join the team. I made a simple template that I can customize depending on the employee, so it's not much leg work, but the posts have done incredibly well!
I've also found that doing posts like these have helped me grow closer to my coworkers, which is sometimes hard in a 70+ employee company. I'm able to make connections with staff, and also help grow relationships with our followers. People want to go with companies they can trust and relate to.
Upon starting at JCREMC, I could immediately tell that the company's reputation is its greatest asset. The community trusts JCREMC because it's been around since 1935, and the company puts a lot of emphasis on their commitment to community. To reflect this, I've worked to include posts that shout out local businesses other than JCREMC.
Posts like this one show JCREMC's desire to support other businesses, and they also increase our chances of businesses sharing our posts on their own social media accounts, which grows our following and engagement.

Similarly to the last post, I wanted to show more of the real faces behind JCREMC. So many of our followers often share their appreciation for our linemen, and they love knowing that they're taken care of by such hardworking, local individuals. Any excuse to show extra support to them is always great, from my perspective.
When I started at the company, I also noticed we weren't posting about any internal events. While I understand internal happenings aren't always relevant for social media, JCREMC goes above and beyond to make its staff feel appreciated and celebrated, and that should be shown to our members! I've prioritized sharing more behind-the-scenes moments of our company, and it has paid off. This post received 100+ reactions, when traditionally, our posts receive an average of 10-20 likes.
