As a marketing and communications specialist, I oversee all daily communications with our members. I also copyedit all external communications, and write press releases and speeches for our leadership executives.

As storytelling intern, I assisted with all things communications. I helped with writing grantee spotlights and appeal letters, creating social media content, designing Mailchimp e-newsletters, shooting documentary-style horizontal videos and more.

Web and Social Media Editor
The Franklin
As web and social media editor, I am in charge of coordinating and posting all digital content for TheFranklinNews.com. This role includes shifting website design, creating daily social media posts, working hand-in-hand with reporters, and more.
May 2023 - May 2024
Executive Editor
The Franklin
After spending one year as the news editor of The Franklin, I was promoted to the role of executive editor. In this role, I organize and plan the spread of seasonable magazines while leading a team of over 20 student reporters.
August 2022 - May 2023
News Editor
The Franklin
I began working with The Franklin, Franklin College's student-run newspaper, in the fall of my freshman year. After taking a break in the spring, I was promoted to the news editor position. I currently write and design news stories for our monthly issues, while also guiding reporters through writing their own stories.
August 2021 - May 2025
Reporter
The Statehouse File
Since my start at Franklin, I have worked with TSF staff creating articles on politics, social issues and lifestyle issues. During my fall semester of 2021, I wrote articles while being a full-time student. In January, I wrote articles full-time, reporting directly from the Indiana Statehouse. I wrote 65+ stories in three months to cover the 2023 Indiana legislative session.
